Thursday's Catch Up

Updated: Aug 23, 2019

Whew! What a week!

Perhaps I’m still playing catch up from my recent trip to KL, but the past few days just has passed in a blast. So many things have happened and i can't be happier to update everyone about it.

But before that, I would like to announce the first series of Thursday's Catch Up where i will be sharing or more like updating what I have been up to all week.

As always, hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead which is just two days away, no matter what you have planned! And thanks for reading! In the meantime, here’s a rundown of everything that’s caught my eye this week:

ONE // Fenty New Launch Pro Filter Hydrating Foundation

Rihanna outdid herself again. Her new launch pro filter hydrating foundation is one of a kind. Still keeping it at a various range of colours, this time the foundation is perfect for people with dry skin. For me, the best part of the foundation is that it has a sweat and humidity-resistant formula that is buildable. Plus, the long-wearing, light-as-air texture is undetectable on skin—so you always look like you.

TWO // P!nk & Khalid - Hurts to be Human

How do I put this, the combination of a veteran pop star and an aspiring R&B, Soul singer together = to an amazing and heartwarming collab.

This ballad, which has a build-up EDM just has a pure human connection that just connects to everyone in one way or another.

THREE // Place to check out

For my first edition of place to check out would be in Kuala Lumpur my homeland.

A few of my friend and I checked out the new rooftop bar called Ce La Vie. Ce La Vie is a well-known Singapore brand that opened up a branch in KL!!!

Ce La Vie KL offers high-end lounge vibes with an amazing 360 view over the KL city skyline from the 37th floor of Ilham building.

FOUR // Weddings

Last weekend I've got the chance to be a bridesmaid for the 4th time. Yes, I said it the 4th time!! And this time was for a Malay wedding ( the first 3 was for a Hindu, Christian and Chinese Wedding) I guess you can call me Muhibah! :) Cause I have done it all.

The wedding which I attended was a beautiful union between two of my dear friends, whose theme wedding was centered of the idea of classic, elegant and traditional. As it was a Malay wedding, the first part of it was the Nikah or also known as solemnization and the second was the reception which includes the blessing from the eldest.

I feel so grateful as well as thankful for being apart of it, cause every part of the wedding was just beautiful and and gave me that aww feeling all the way.

Congratulations Aina & Amir once again!!!!

Do hope to hear more feedback on what you think of this post and is this something that you would like to be reading more in the future....
